The glazed vase is adopted a deep relief engraving design with sinuous five-clawed dragons flying amidst clouds and flames, all below a ruyi border at the mouth and the bottom rim encircled with a band of lappets.

China and Porcelain both terms describe the same product. "China" comes from its origin Changnan (Tang Dynasty 618 to 907) and nowadays Jingdezhen (Northern Song Dynasty 960-1127), and the word "Porcelain" comes from the Portuguese word Porcelana.
