Empress Dowager Cixi was a powerful woman who ruled the great Qing dynasty from 1861 to 1908. She was very fond of porcelain and order craftsmen in Jingdezhen to create precious porcelain for her to enjoy and use. Her exquisite collection called DaYa Treasures 大雅珍寶.
