Canton or Cantonese porcelain is the characteristic style of ceramic ware decorated in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong and (prior to 1842) the sole legal port for the export of Chinese goods to Europe. 

Most Canton Porcelain adopts Chinese brocade pattern, which is famous for its bright and brilliant colors. It is a unique variety of Chinese overglaze porcelain.
